WHERE I BELONG

England, late 1950’s; Rosemarie the only daughter of Austrian émigré Friedrich Kohschitz, leads a divided life – split between her young English friend’s and her father’s fantasy of returning to the family home in Austria, which was seized during the war. They embark on a passionate affair which leads her to lose nearly everything. But in doing so she will confront her split identity and, ultimately, learn how to build an independent life and find out for herself where she belongs …
